Benita Willis is, without doubt, Australia’s greatest female distance runner. A three-time National Champion in the 5,000m, Willis currently holds 11 national records from distances ranging from the 2,000m to the marathon. In 2004 Willis achieved what is arguably one of the greatest victories in Australian athletics when she won the World Cross Country Championships – the hardest race in the world. - Runners Tribe


Athletics North Queensland will be running an Elite Seminar with the great Benita Willis on the 30th March 2019. This is open to all in the local community of Cairns. This is a one in a life time oppurtunity to hear and ask questions from the greatest female distance runner in Australia's history.

The seminar will run between 6pm - 7.30pm on Saturday 30th March at the Trinity Anglican School (TAS) Bishop Centre. 200 Progress Rd, White Rock.

This event is free to all registrations thanks to Athletics North Queensland Development Initiatives.
