Andre came away from the competition with 2 x silver medals and a 5th placing in the 3 throwing events he took part in.
In the Discus he came away with a throw of 23.09m, only 39cm off a gold medal. He followed that up with an 8.64m effort in the Shot Put for his second silver and finally in the Javelin, launching the spear 16.09m to take 5th place.
