The 'Level 1 Recreational Running' Course introduces how to lead a recreational run group under the guidance of a Level 2 Recreational Running Coach or higher. In the course, beginning coaches learn the fundamental technique of running, the components of a successful run training program, how to design the warm up and cool down components of a session, the critical communication and group management skills that are required to be an effective coach, and the motivations of recreational running participation. As part of the pre-course work for this course, participants must complete the Australian Sports Commission Community Coaching General Principles and Play by the Rules - Child Protection Module online. 

 

PLEASE NOTE:  A minimum amount of numbers are required for this course to proceed.  All appropriate Covid_19 guidelines will be followed.

 

COST:   ANQ registered members - $100 (ANQ registered members include anyone who is a registered member in the Revsport System).
