ANQ will be hosting a Performance Clinic at the conclusion of the NQ Championships for athletes 12 years and older who wish to improve on their athletics careers. This clinic will be beneficial to both the athlete and parents to gain valuable knowledge from leading coaches and sports experts on the best practices to support the growth of athletes. It is highly recommended for those athletes that are wishing to compete in the North Queensland team at the 2023 National All School Championships to attend, as there will be a range of sessions that target National level pathways.

Sessions at this clinic include, but not limited to:

• Technical Coaching 
• Nutrition
• Strength and Conditioning 
• Competition and Training Physiotherapy
• Best practices for Recovery
• Pathway Management  
• Injury prevention and management 
• Competition and Team Management / Planning

As this is a Performance Clinic, this clinic is only available for athletes that are members of the sport of Athletics - ANQ, QA or another Athletics Australia. Parents and coaches of athletes attending are more than welcome to participate. More information, including the coaches and facilitators for the clinic will be made available in late August along with the draft program of events. 

This clinic has been heavily discounted by ANQ to $20 per athlete. A Performance clinic of this nature is valued over $200.
